The Truth About “Man-Made Religion”
For centuries, what is called and known as “man-made religion” has reshaped, concealed, and even rebranded the original message of Yeshua, whose true Hebrew name was deliberately altered to “Jesus” in the Greek and Latin translations of scripture, thereby diluting its deeper meaning and disconnecting it from its Hebrew roots. Alongside this change in the Messiah’s name, powerful institutions of church and empire systematically decided which writings would become part of the “canon” and which would be hidden, banned, or outright destroyed. Among those suppressed works are the Book of Enoch, which provides profound insights into angels, the Watchers, and the mysteries of heaven and earth; the Gospel of Thomas, a collection of 114 sayings of Yeshua emphasizing inner knowledge and direct communion with Elohim; the Gospel of Philip, which offers insights into the nature of the sacraments and the divine union between masculine and feminine; and the Gospel of Mary Magdalene, which elevates her role as a true disciple and teacher. Entire collections of texts, such as the Nag Hammadi Library, discovered in Egypt in 1945, revealed a vast treasure of Gnostic writings that preserved teachings about spiritual sovereignty and direct experience with The Creator, Elohim, bypassing priestly hierarchies. Likewise, the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls in 1946 gave humanity access to some of the oldest Hebrew scriptures and apocryphal writings ever found, demonstrating that early followers preserved a much broader spiritual tradition than what was later allowed by religious authorities. These discoveries shatter the illusion that the “Bible” is a complete and untampered-with record; rather, they expose how councils, emperors, and religious elites molded “faith” into a system of control, stripping away texts that emphasized freedom, inner enlightenment, and the direct presence of Elohim within and around us. The truth about man-made religion, therefore, is not only about what was changed and hidden, but also about what was stolen from humanity and why: the unmediated path of knowledge, wisdom, and divine connection.
